Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how [PLACEHOLDER: company legal name, if incorporated] ("TeamOS," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal data for TeamOS, a team management, networking, and AI mentor platform for founders and teams.

What We Collect

We collect account information such as your email address and name through Supabase Auth. If you sign in with Google OAuth, we may receive profile data that Google shares with us, such as your email address, name, and profile picture.

We also collect the profile details you add to TeamOS, including your avatar, headline, username, bio, and networking details. TeamOS stores the team activity you create or join, including teams, memberships, channels, messages, tasks, calendar items, uploaded files, applications, invitations, and related activity.

When you use LidAI, we collect the prompts, questions, and context you provide to the AI mentor feature, along with relevant team content needed to generate a response.

How LidAI Works

LidAI uses your TeamOS workspace context to generate AI mentor responses. Team chat content, task data, team information, uploaded context, and user-provided prompts may be sent to a third-party AI provider to produce a response.

Our current AI provider is Google's Gemini model, routed through our AI gateway. This means relevant TeamOS content may leave our application environment and be processed by that provider when you ask LidAI for help.

Where Data Is Stored

TeamOS stores application data in Supabase, including a Postgres database and Supabase file storage. Our Supabase project is hosted in [PLACEHOLDER: fill in Supabase project region].

Authentication

You can create an account with email and password or sign in with Google OAuth. For Google OAuth, Google controls what information it shares and how it processes your Google account data. You can read Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies And Local Storage

TeamOS uses browser storage, including cookies or local storage, to keep you signed in and maintain your session tokens. We do not use this storage to sell your personal data.

How We Use Data

We use your data to provide TeamOS features, authenticate your account, display profiles and teams, deliver messages, manage tasks and files, support networking, generate LidAI responses, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [PLACEHOLDER: contact email]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Retention And Deletion

We retain account, profile, team, message, task, file, and LidAI usage data while your account is active or as needed to provide TeamOS. If you close or delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it for security, legal, backup, dispute, or compliance reasons.

Children's Privacy

TeamOS is not intended for users under [PLACEHOLDER: pick age, e.g. 16 or 18]. If we learn that a user under that age has provided personal data, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as TeamOS changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the product or by email.
